・A Dash of Cloves

Mocha Porridge - serves 1
This is a great recipe for those of you who love a good mocha fix, but without all the extra calories. You'll need:
・1/2 Cup of water
・1/4 Cup of brewed coffee
・1Tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
・1Tsp of Sweetner of choice
1) Microwave the oats in water for a few minutes
2) Add in the coffee, cocoa powder, and your sweetner of choice.
Slow Cooked Apple Pie Porridge - serves 4
This is a great recipe, if you love using your slow cooker, or for those of you who are just too busy in the morning to prepare breakfast. What you'll need to prepare this easy and tasty recipe is:
・2 Large apples peeled, cored, and cubed
・1 Cup of steel cut oats
・3 Cups of milk
・1/2 Tsp of Salt
・2 Tbsp of brown sugar
1) Put all the ingredients into the slow cooker
2) Cook on low for 3 hours.
3) Turn the temperature down to warm and let it cook overnight.
*Feel free to add a bit more milk, if you find it's a bit dry for your taste. Be sure to add the milk after you have served yourself a bowl. You don't want to risk cracking your slow cooker.
